This last month was filled with so much fun for Andrew and me. Every week for date night we tried to do something halloweenish and I absolutely loved it. Fall is such a fun time and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! The first weekend we went to a corn maze that was right off the highway south of Idaho Falls. We didn't bring any flashlights so it was fun to try to find our way around in the dark. I always thought I knew where we were going but until Andy took over the directions we were completely lost. Afterwards we went to Walmart because I really wanted to buy a mini pumpkin. I have a weakness for those every year because they are just so cute! As we were searching for one we stumbled across the Halloween costumes for dogs. They were so cute so I of course wanted them for our cats. We got the cutest pumpkin costumes but unfortunately they were not the biggest fans. They were trying to get out of them and walking weird the whole time so we unfortunately had to take them back but at least we got a couple pictures of them before that.
The next weekend we went with my two sisters to a straw maze in Rexburg. I had never been to one but I thought it was way fun even though I got impatient about getting out after an hour and a half. This maze was haunted and was actually surprisingly scary! When we pulled up across the street from the maze my sister turned and outside the window was one of the workers trying to scare us and it definitely worked!
Andrew and I carved pumpkins two times this year. The first time just at our apartment and the second at my parents house. I love carving pumpkins and getting all the gucky pumpkin guts everywhere.
Halloween day was very exciting for a couple of reasons. First and foremost my younger brother Spencer finally returned from working in California for the last couple of months. I was so excited that he is finally home and I can see him whenever I want! Also exciting because we got to go to a haunted house. We went to Dr. Slaughter's which is by far the best haunted house in Idaho Falls. We went with my bestest friend Clarice and her husband, Jacob, all my brothers and sisters, and with one of the family friends, Shannon. It was a terrifying and fun experience.
Missed you brother!
Really glad my husband got that creepy skeleton in the picture
