Our story started in the summer of 2009 when I got a job at Carino's Italian Grill as a hostess. I immediately noticed Andy because he was such a cutie. We were both really shy so we didn't talk that much but once we did we became friends. Things were complicated so we just remained friends for about a year. I went off to BYU that fall, we kept in touch and once I came back the next summer we were working together once again.

After a series of events we finally ended up being an official couple on May 23, 2010. We had an amazing summer together.

Unfortunately the dreaded day came when we had to go back to college. I went off to BYU and Andy to BYUI. Having a long distance relationship was so difficult for me, I absolutely hated it. We got to see each other most weekends but I wanted to spend more time together, pretty much every day!

Finally for winter semester I transferred to BYUI. We spent as much time together as possible and were so happy. Fast forward to January 25, 2010. It was a normal day at BYUI Andy and I attended our classes and afterwards I was talking about how much I love plants and how I wanted a new plant. Andy then had the idea to take me to a place we had been to the previous summer the BYUI greenhouse. I remembered how cute and beautiful it was in there last time so I was so excited. After we got in there we sat down at a little table that they have in there and Andy read me a poem that he had wrote. Then after that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the best proposal ever!
